I am not from Mumbai but have been living in Mumbai for the last 4 years and these rates are too high.

I am living in Mumbai and the rates you are charging for finding flats are too high even if one goes through a broker.

Are these rentals for fully-furnished or near -full furnished (way more than semi-furnished) ? ... Rental rates are very high. With such rates anyone will give property happily. E.g. 1BHK Bhakti Park is 24k-27k (Feb'2013) against 28k-33k that you claim. In Chandivali you can get 3BHK for 39K while you will help one get 1BHK in 30-35k !! Like brokers, this is a fleecing scheme.

You don't pay the rent until you sign the agreement. You don't sign the agreement until you like the apartment. Where is the fleecing? You are free to not use our services. The general rude tone of your replies are extremely disappointing, what is it that makes you this arrogant? You are free to visit my place (Bhakti Park) and we can see if you can find a better 1BHK in this locality. And, the rent is 24k (yes, Feb'2013). Nope, this is not one-off case, have arguably checked 90% of 1bhk here. In Chandivali I am referring to Nahar Amrit Shakti - now if DB, MS, and other ibankers, who live there, are also not your target (willing to pay those rents) then I am not sure who is. Feel free to check my profile as well, we will then talk about which certain professionals are target segment, which 'certain quality' it is that you are selling and do I absolutely fit in that or not. The idea of projecting this 'proposal' of yours (if you don't like the word 'scheme') as being more economical and beneficial, when it is the other way round, is what will be called attempt to fleece.
